The course was very informative and fun. It is such an honor and a great opportunity to be able to join this kind of trainings. I am excited and very much looking forward to joining the next training for rice plant breeders.

Kudos to IRRI Education team for always doing excellent hosting alongside with very knowledgeable resource speakers. We learned new knowledge thru the training on genomic selection w/c can help us to develop rice varieties with higher yield for the betterment of the farming community. Salamat!!!

The course helped me understand the basic principles, statistical tools and practical applications of Genomic Selection on breeding workflow. This will benefit us to leverage and improve our breeding strategies to deliver the best outcomes.

This two-day training was very informative. It helped me gain knowledge on doing genomic selection. Aside from that, we have a good learning environment as everyone were helping each other to understand the simulations well. Sir Parthiban also discussed the topic well. All in all, it was very good.

The course was very helpful in our breeding project. The speaker is excellent. In general, the hosting, accommodation, fellowship night, and course arrangements and logistics were excellent. Congrats to IRRI Education team Norvie (PhilRice)

IRRI is a wonderful place for rice research. It is located at very fertile piece of land where rice can be grown throughout the year. IRRI has played leading role in eliminating hunger from the world through better rice germplasm. In present time role of IRRI is more crucial for world food security

I learned how to grow rice in a few days than what I knew about rice farming before. I am a teacher and I proudly say that with the help of IRRI, I can teach my people in Nigeria how to grow rice.
