Molecular Breeding for Product Development

This course covers the stages and components of a molecular breeding program with specific focus on product development. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to design and execute their own breeding programs.

Objectives

At the end of the training, the participants will:

  • To understand the stages and components of a molecular breeding program
    • resources includes genetic and financial resources
  • Understanding the tools and techniques required
  • Gain proficiency in selected techniques related to molecular breeding
  • To be able to design a product-oriented molecular breeding program
