Scholarship Grants for IRRI Alumni Scholars to attend the IRC2023
The 6th Edition of the International Rice Congress (IRC2023) in Manila, Philippines will be the largest gathering of thought leaders in rice research and production.
Convened by the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) every four years, the Congress brings together scientists, experts, and decision-makers from the government, private, and public sectors to formulate evidence-based solutions to some of the biggest challenges of the global rice sector.
IRRI is giving alumni IRRI scholars the opportunity to attend the IRC2023 happening on 16-19 October 2023.

All applicants must:
- be a degree alumni scholar (BS, MS or PhD scholar only) of IRRI from South and Southeast Asia;
- must have submitted an abstract approved for poster or oral presentation
- must have an official abstract acceptance letter from the IRC Program Committee
- Qualified and interested applicants must fill out the online application using this link.
- This grant will provide funds to support the registration fee, dinner allowance, and accommodation of the delegate.
